FAQ Starlight Survivor
Why didn't my new run change the leaderboard?
Each account keeps one best score per daily board; a lower score only adds to your play count. Practice runs, and challenges from past days or older rules, are never ranked.
Is Tonight's Night exactly the same for everyone?
The seed is, so spawns come from the same random sequence and the Nth level-up uses the same random draw. Cards can still differ, because the draw is taken from what your build allows: maxed items, and new items once four slots are full, leave the pool.
Do Night Goals affect my score?
No. Three of 15 goals are active at a time, they are stored only in this browser, and they never touch score, ranking or replays. A strong run can clear several, because a goal that replaces a finished one also counts if the same run already met it.
Can I turn off screen shake and flashes?
Yes. Screen shake, the hit flash and the giant-kill flash follow the GameNow effects settings, whose Motion option follows your device's reduce-motion setting unless you change it. The low-HP pulse and the glow and bob animations follow the device setting only.
